There
Are
Three
Requisites
For
Membership
In
The
Veterans
Of
Foreign
Wars
Of
The
United
States:
Citizenship;
Honorable
Military
Service;
And
Service
Entitling
The
Applicant
To
The
Award
Of
A
Recognized
Campaign
Medal
Or
As
Set
Forth
In
The
Congressional
Charter
And/or
Vfw
Bylaws.
An
Applicant
Must
Have
Served
Overseas
And
Earned
A
Campaign
Or
Service
Medal
Recognized
By
The
Vfw
As
Meeting
The
Campaign
Medal
Requisite
For
Vfw
Membership.

Only
Exceptions
Are
A
Combat
Action
Ribbon,
Imminent
Danger
Pay
Or
For
Service
In
Korea
(
After
June
30,
1949,
Until
Present.)
Discharges
Issued
During
And
Immediately
After
The
Close
Of
World

The

The

And

The Annual Fee At Vfw Post 5255 Is $35.00. Life Memberships Are Available And Is Based On The
Applicants Age. A Signed Vfw Membership Application Must Be Completed, And Along With A Copy Of
The Applicants Proof Of Eligibilty Dd-214), Submitted To The Post For The Post Members Approval At
The Next Scheduled Post Meeting. Vfw Post 5255 Meetings Are Held Every 2nd Wednesday At 7 Pm In
Our Post Hall.
